Farina Balkish Abdul Malik is a Technical Program Manager at Amazon, responsible for managing large-scale programs on detail pages across Print (Retail) and Kindle eBooks (Digital) spanning across organizations within Amazon. With over 6 years of relevant experience, Farina is a seasoned professional who has worked her way up the ranks in the tech industry. Currently, Farina serves as the TPM for Books Detail Page team at Amazon, where she effectively contributes to 70% of the Books Org’s revenue. She owns the project roadmap for her two teams of 10+ SDEs which comprises of S-team & VP level goals for the year. Farina's key highlight in 2022 would be tackling the Google play store billing policy change for digital goods sold via apps downloaded from Google play store. Her team's primary product i.e., eBooks sold via the Amazon Shopping App & the Kindle Apps on Android devices (mobiles & tablets) world wide now have an updated experience adhering to this Google's compliance policy. Prior to joining Amazon, Farina worked at Zoho as a Member Technical Staff and Project Trainee. Farina holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Information Technology from SSN College of Engineering. Farina is a skilled designer and has expertise in Android, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. With her excellent communication and leadership skills, Farina is a valuable asset to any organization she works with.
